RHONDA SY’MONE ANNOUNCES NEW SINGLE “ANGEL” — A CLASSICAL SOUL TRIBUTE TO LOVE, FAITH & REMEMBRANCE

CHICAGO, IL  September 2026

Chicago-born Classical Soul artist Rhonda Sy’Mone is preparing to release her new single, “Angel,” this September. A vocalist, recording artist, songwriter, opera vocalist, and musical director, Rhonda brings together her musical roots in Gospel, Jazz, Soul, and R&B with her continuing training in Opera and classical vocal performance.

Written by Roni Collins, “Angel” is a Chicago Steppin’ song that captured Rhonda’s heart. The song speaks to love, faith, spiritual connection, and the belief that God surrounds us with angels. It reflects the feeling of finding someone who connects deeply with your soul.  A love filled with gratitude, unconditional devotion, and the desire to share life together.

September is especially meaningful for Rhonda Sy’Mone. It is her birthday month and also the month in which her father passed away. With the release of “Angel,” Rhonda is dedicating this special month and this musical tribute to the memory of her father.

“Music is my passion, and my desire is to capture the world through melodies that touch people’s hearts. ‘Angel’ is especially meaningful to me because it represents love, connection, faith, and remembrance.”

Rhonda Sy’Mone brings a diverse performance background spanning Gospel, Jazz, Soul, R&B, recording, touring, studio work, live performance, theater, television, and Opera. Her selected credits include background vocals with John Legend on NBC’s Christmas at Graceland, featured lead vocals with Darius Brooks & SDM, studio and background vocal work with R. Kelly, Avant, live performance with Shekinah Glory Ministries, and Opera Memphis’s 2024 production of La Bohème.

With “Angel,” Rhonda continues to define her sound as a Classical Soul artist, blending soulful storytelling, Gospel influence, R&B emotion, Jazz, and classical vocal artistry. She is also continuing to develop original music and prepare for upcoming live performances.
